The Gulmarg Ski Club Story
Born at 2,650 metres. Raised on powder.
Gulmarg Ski Club began in 2011 with a handful of local instructors and one conviction — that the Meadow of Flowers deserves a ski school worthy of its mountain. Today we guide travellers from across the world down Apharwat's legendary slopes, across turquoise alpine lakes, and into valleys most maps forget.

Frequently asked questions
The ski season runs from mid-December to late March. January and February offer the deepest, most consistent snow, while December and March are quieter with softer light — ideal for first-time learners.
No. Our beginner programmes start from your very first step into ski boots. Certified instructors coach small groups on gentle, dedicated learning slopes before you ever ride the Gondola.
Yes. Skis or snowboard, boots, poles, helmet and lift access on the learning slopes are all included. You only need warm layers — and we can help arrange outerwear rental too.
Fly into Srinagar International Airport (SXR); Gulmarg is a scenic 90-minute drive away. We arrange private transfers for all our guests as part of every package.
Several are. Chatpal's forest trails suit first-timers, while Kashmir Great Lakes and Tarsar Marsar are moderate treks best enjoyed with basic fitness. Each trek page lists a clear difficulty rating.
