Advanced Course
Ready for steeps, powder and freeride? Take the next step.
For riders who can link turns and want more mountain. Six days from dynamic linked turns to carving, switch riding and your first Gondola descents on Apharwat's blue and red terrain.

The Course
This is the bridge between 'I can get down' and 'I can ride'. Over six days we smooth out your linked turns, introduce carving on both edges, add switch riding, and take you onto the variable snow, trees and Gondola terrain where real snowboarding begins.
Coached in small groups by rider-only instructors who ride Apharwat every day, with all-mountain gear and lift access included.

Warm up on familiar terrain to refresh edge control and falling-leaf, so your coach can tailor the week to exactly where you ride.
Smooth, continuous heel-to-toe transitions with rhythm and flow — the moment riding starts to feel effortless.
Tip the board on edge and let its sidecut carve clean arcs on gentle groomers, building edge grip and body angulation.
Ride switch on easy terrain, then take your turns into crud, soft snow and your first tree lines for all-mountain confidence.
Ride Phase 1 and lower Phase 2 for long descents, linking the week's skills on bigger blue and red terrain.
Mileage on your favourite runs, video feedback and an intermediate progression certificate before departure.
The Mountain
You'll progress from the learner meadow onto Gondola Phase 1 and the lower blue and red runs of Phase 2.
Terrain shown is illustrative. Daily run choices depend on snow, weather and avalanche conditions — always follow your instructor and ski patrol on the mountain.
Why You'll Love It
Smooth heel-to-toe transitions and your first carved arcs on both edges.
Longer, steeper descents on Phase 1 and lower Phase 2, guided every run.
Ride switch, tackle tree lines and variable snow — the skills that open the whole mountain.
The Fine Print
Good to Know
Riders who can already link basic heel and toe turns and ride green runs in control, and want smooth dynamic turns, carving, switch riding and their first blue and red terrain off the Gondola.
Confident linked turns on blue runs, early carving on both edges, riding switch, and controlled riding in variable snow, trees and your first Gondola descents.
Moderate fitness helps — you'll ride longer and faster than a beginner. A few weeks of leg and core conditioning make a big difference.
Yes — all-mountain board, boots, bindings and helmet suited to intermediate terrain, plus lift and Gondola access per the course.
